The Viscomi Family: Happy 3rd Birthday Makena

Now that Makena is a big girl, she was a lot of help with planning her party. She picked the princess theme, told me everyone she wanted to send invitations to and picked the cupcake flavors (along with the specific icing and sprinkle combos)! On the day of her party, Makena wasn't feeling well but still managed to have a great time! She greeted her guests in a princess costume but wanted to quickly change and go outside when she got her first glance at the new outdoor play area! I was mildly disappointed that she wanted to take off her princess costume after the first 15 minutes of the party....but EXTREMELY happy that she was so excited about everything we had done in the backyard! Makena had such a great birthday. Thank you to everyone who helped make it so special for her.

4. Watching Doc McStuffin, Dora and Mike the Night
5. The color blue
6. Picking out her clothes and getting dressed by herself
7. Special treats when she's had a great day at school
8. Getting snugly in warm blankets
9. Sleeping with Mommy & Daddy when she's sick
10. Playing games
11. Dance class
12. Playing doctor and dress up
13. Building forts

Makena does not like:
1. Sitting in shopping carts
2. Strawberries
3. Sitting in time out
4. Loud noises
5. Hearing Mason cry
6. Sitting in her car seat for long periods of time
7. Going to the dentist
8. The big bad wolf;)

Makena has been so much fun this past year! Watching her learn new things is really exciting. She's smart, playful, funny and a bit crazy at times. She sleeps 11 hours at night and still takes a 2 hour nap during the day. She's a great eater and is very sweet to her baby brother...most of the time! We're excited to see what the next year brings. We love you Kena Bena!!
