For Makena and Mason's birthday, I wanted them to have their own place to play outside. When I first told Ryan about my ideas, I'm pretty sure he thought I was crazy...but then quickly jumped on board;) The main project was to build a sand box big enough for all of us to sit in and play at the same time. After that, I wanted the area to have rock, a giant umbrella for shade and be filled with great toys. Grandma and Grandpa added the playhouse and Nani and Poppy added the picnic table. The big reveal to the kids wasn't until the day of Makena's birthday party. THEY LOVED IT!!!!!
