As Makena's obsession with trains continues, I've been trying to think of everything we can do that involves trains. On this weekend we headed to Crown Center to see the train exhibit. Our first stop was checking out the fun fountains! Luckily it was a nice day so Makena got to spend about 30 minutes walking around with Grandma and Grandpa while I fed Mason. After that, we headed to the train exhibit and then stood on the bridge over the real railroad tracks. We had lunch at Fritz's where you order your food by phone and then an overhead train brings it to your table. Makena and Mason both got cute engineer caps but, sadly, Makena started to act very tired and cranky so I didn't get any pictures.
Once Makena woke up from her nap later that day, she had a fever! After taking her to the Dr on Monday we realized she had strep:( I know she would have normally had a great time at Fritz's so I'm anxious to take her back....probably in December when Crown Center and Union Station are decorated for Christmas!!!
