4 Months Old

Yet another month has gone by super fast! Mason gets more fun by the day. He loves to talk, pull Mommy and Makena's hair, hold his own bottle, reach for his toys, try to roll over and look at the TV. When he laughs, you can't help but laugh with him. His neck and thighs are very ticklish so any time I want a good laugh, I know just what to do:)

Makena is having such a great time with Mason. If I'd let her, she would change his diapers, give him baths and feed him. She's a wonderful little mommy!!!

Mason's 4 month check-up went great. He weighs 15 lbs 11 oz (67th percentile), is 25 3/4" (79th percentile) and his head is 16.3" (32nd percentile). The pediatrician said he looks like he's right on track and cute as can be! At the end were the dreaded 3 shots. Daddy stayed in the room while I quickly exited. When the door opened back up, I was surprised to not hear a single cry. I later found out he let out one of those silent cries where they look like they're in so much shock that sound doesn't come out. Honestly, I think that's worse than an actual cry!
