For the last couple days, I've been asking Makena if she can say Kena. She's managed to say something kind of like it, but not exactly Kena. Tonight at the dinner table we practiced again and she said Kena several times;) I couldn't believe it. So.....if she can say Kena, why not MA-Kena. Sure enough......SHE DID IT! She said Makena. So happy Ryan was home from work so we could both hear it and cheer her on. Our big girl is growing up.
