The Viscomi Family: 10 Months Old

Such a smart girl we have! Makena is picking up on things so quickly....maybe a little too quickly for us. We now have a gate for the top and bottom of the stairs since Makena can climb the entire set of stairs on her own. She loves chasing Brinkley, petting her and giving her kisses. The good news is Brinkley is starting to allow such things to happen:)

She's crawling faster, walking longer, dancing to music, pointing to body parts (head, tummy, nose), finding toys by name, talking clearer and giving excellent hugs and kisses!! 5 sharp teeth are in and 2 more are ready to break through any day now.

A lot of Makena's dinners are now table food...and we've yet to find something she doesn't like. She's had pasta, chicken, pudding, jello, cucumbers, tomatoes, pancakes, bananas, green beans, carrots, peas, biscuits, pears, peaches and so much more!!!

In celebration of Makena turning "double-digits" we decided to give her a cupcake. Ryan and I thought this would be a great trial run since we hear a lot of babies don't like to dig into the cake on their 1st birthday. It's safe to say we won't need to worry about that....Makena had stars in her eyes from the moment Ryan started walking the cupcake to her:)
