9 Months Old

We're all having so much fun with Mason these days. He pulls himself up now and loves to stand against the ottoman and play with his toys. He would much rather be standing than sitting, which means tummy time is a thing of the past, so he'll probably walk before he crawls! He's also starting to eat more food during the day, although he'd be fine without it...just not much of an eater. He's starting to wave bye-bye, grabbing his toys with one hand, learning to drink from a sippy cup and has found a new love for pulling Mommy's hair!

Mason's 9 month check-up went great. He's 29 inches (75th percentile), 18 lbs 10 oz (19th percentile) and has a head circumference of 44 cm (16th percentile). His weight is a lot lower than I would like it to be but being sick for so long really did a number on him. I'm determined to do whatever I have to to get his weight back to average.....and hopefully get a few chunky leg rolls back;) Other than that, the Dr had all great things to say about Mason's progress and how cute he is. When she said he was ready to slowly start table food, I couldn't believe it....WHAT....how can my baby be old enough to eat real food!!!! I feel like I just brought him home from the hospital a couple months ago and now he's ready to sit at the table and share a banana with me! It's crazy.....just crazy I tell you;)
