We had no idea what to expect at this years Christmas program. Makena is so shy around people she doesn't know right now that I honestly expected the worst. I was prepared to consider the night a success as long as she didn't run off stage in the middle of her performance. Oh how wrong I was!!! Turns out she was the only one singing and doing the motions. Most of the other kids either cried, looked terrified or spent the entire time pulling their shirts up and down. Unfortunately, Makena was stuck behind two boys (one with a look of terror and one who played with his shirt). She did her best to try to move around them....especially when she found Mommy, Daddy, Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Michael and Aunt Alexis in the audience!!! We were all so very proud of how great she did.
