The Viscomi Family: Mason's 1st Trip to STL

We made our first trip to St. Louis with both kids (and Uncle Michael & Aunt Alexis). The boys drove in one car and the girls in another (including Brinkley)! The boys trip was easy since Mason slept the whole time. The girls trip, on the other hand, was spent listening to Makena's movies and then listening to her cry because she didn't want to be in the car anymore. It's hard to get mad at her since I probably hate the drive more than she does;) The good news is, other than the car rides, we had a lot of fun! Makena loves spending time with Max and Ellie. They got to play, read books, swim, eat...really just a whole weekend of doing everything together. Mason was a good boy and had plenty of new things and people to look at.

Mason was Baptized while we were there. He was a happy little guy in the beginning and then fell asleep. During the ceremony he went back and forth between sleeping, talking and crying. For the most part, he was exactly how we expected he would be! Makena, however, was like a totally different person. My little girl who refuses to talk to people in public and won't leave my side was running around the church (during the ceremony), letting everyone pick her up, laughing and having a great time! I never even thought to share the rules of being quiet and standing still in church since I've never seen her act like she did:) Perhaps she was trying to make up for being so silent during her own Baptism ceremony!!!

Dear Ellie,
Thank you for all the dress up clothes you gave me! I love them so much and play dress up every day. Can't wait to play with you again. Miss you:)
