Four days after Mason's 2 week check-up, he started getting snot-looking gew in his left eye. I decided to go ahead and take him back in, just to make sure everything was okay. As I figured, there was nothing they could do to help our little guy. He had a clogged tear duct that would hopefully go away on its own. Luckily, a couple days later it completely cleared up. Woohoo!!! When I was little I had to have both my tear ducts probed. I absolutely CAN NOT imagine having Mason go through that!
On an even better note, they weighed him while we were there and in 4 days he gained 10 ounces. The pediatrician was amazed and said that's double what they would normally hope to see. Feeding Mason every 1 1/2 to 2 hours paid off and we don't have to go back to the Dr until his 2 month check-up:)
