Trip to Marshall

We took a trip to Marshall a couple weeks ago to visit Grandma Shirley and Grandpa Pete! The drive there and back has gotten much easier now that Makena gets excited to watch her Baby Einstein movies in the car. She knows the only two places we go where she can watch movies are the farm and STL so she gets very excited when we go to either. It turned out to be a very nice day so we got to spend most of the day outside. Makena loved to smell the flowers, look at the cows, chase the dog and play with the toys mommy used to play with when she was little. We had a great time and are looking forward to our next visit!
