Merry Christmas

Christmas morning was SO MUCH FUN!!! Ryan and I had a great time "preparing" the night before and were so excited to wake up the next morning to see Makena's face. I'm not sure but it is entirely possible that we were more excited than she was. This event, unlike meeting Santa Claus, was exactly what I had envisioned! As soon as Makena walked to the top of the steps she said "kitchen...vacuum.....kitchen....vacuum" and rushed down as fast as she could. What to play with first?!?! I loved that she stopped to see that Santa had eaten the cookies and milk she set out for him. After playing with everything Santa left, including picking up her American Girl doll several times by its pig tails, we headed to Grandma and Grandpas for some very yummy breakfast!

We went home to get ready for the day and then headed back to Grandma and Grandpa's for Christmas lunch and presents!!! Makena was definitely on the good girl list this year:) She got so many great things.
