We're still in shock from this one!!! I can't believe Makena decided to go pee pee in the potty all by herself. My plan for months has been to attempt potty training the last week of December since I'm off work. When we got home from our vacation this past Friday, I was putting away stuff in Makena's bathroom and decided to set out a potty that our friend Alisha had given us the day before we left for Hawaii. That night I was getting Makena's bath ready while she checked out her new potty. I asked her if she wanted to go pee pee in the potty and she responded with her usual, sweet little yes. I put her on the potty and.......OMG.....OMG..... OMG.....OOOOOMMMMMGGGGG......she went pee pee;) I think my screams scared her for a second but Makena quickly realized she had done something great when daddy and I were singing the pee pee in the potty song (I think it's from the movie Look Who's Talking), clapping, dancing around like crazy people and giving her a fruit snack as a reward!!!! Thank goodness daddy thought to run downstairs and grab the camera to capture this VERY big girl moment. She'll thank us for this one day....I'm just sure of it!!!
Since Friday, daddy's been having fun keeping a pee pee tally! Oh how we change when we become parents:) So, here it is:

Saturday: 2 times
Sunday: 3 times
Monday: 2 times
Tuesday: 4 times
